(*Using the EDDM mailing program it is unavoidable to mail to businesses as they are on the carriers routes. However, we did try to minimize it as much as possible).

The Bottom Line

If you currently use direct mail for your marketing efforts or have looked into using it before, most of you probably already know, if you were to mail 10,000 EDDM postcards yourself (mailing and printing costs), it would cost you about a $1 per postcard or $10,000 per mailing!

That is outrageous!

Our cost is ONLY  $690/spot, per month!

We could easily charge up to $1,000 per spot. However, that is not our goal. Just like you, we were looking for something affordable, so we would like to do the same for you to entrust us to handle your marketing/advertising efforts!

What does the $690/mo. include:

• Exclusivity for your business niche/service/product category (no competitors!!)  
• You can be assured that your message from your business will be in front of approxiametly 10,000 houses each month.
• If your message needs to be changed, we will accommodate any changes needed (within reason).
• You will be sent a proof of your ad prior to printing.
• We will handle all of the logistics between the graphic designer, printer and USPS to make sure your business is in the hands of approximately 10,000 households per month.
• Month-to-month terms (no agreement, nothing to sign!)

*** Note: To honor exclusivity with the postcard, there is only one spot made available for 1 company, per niche industry, so all the spots are on a first come first serve basis.

Here are a couple of examples, just so you have an idea how this would work:

•  If you are a landscaper, we won't feature another landscaper. However, we may feature a lawn sprinkler company that also does lawn care.

• If you are a general contractor, that does everything construction related, I am going to ask you consider at least buying a couple of spots, because it won't for example, allow an electrician, roofer, window, and/or flooring company an opportunity to be included.

FAQ’S

Do you guarantee results?

No. The only thing we can guarantee is that the postcards are delivered.

Why don’t you make any guarantees?

Because most likely we don’t know anything about your business or your business systems to effectively handle any additional incoming calls or walk-in customers. We will deliver your message, however, it is your responsibility to handle the potential incoming business.

How do you know that all the postcards will be delivered?

In this day-in-age postal service carriers/employees are heavily monitored and tracked during their mail delivery routes. Not to mention it is a highly federal offense with stiff penalties to throw away or delay the delivery of any parcels. Postal carriers also have a very nice pension that they don’t want to lose. It’s simply not in their interests to throw out the mail. Does it happen? Sure. A lot? No!

Can I at least expect a 1-2% ROI (Return-On-Investment) like other direct mail?

It depends. Think of direct mail as a marathon, not a sprint. Is direct mail currently part of your marketing plan and budget? Have you been consistently mailing for some time? Then yes, you could possibly get a 1-2% response rate (response rate doesn’t mean new business, it means the opportunity to acquire new business).

If your marketing is out of shape and you haven’t been marketing, that’s okay, but please understand that it is unrealistic to expect to jump into the marathon on your first race and catch the moving pack. With anything worthwhile, it takes ongoing practice, i.e., consistently marketing to stay with the pack and let alone break through the pack. However, eventually you will, you just need to stay the course!

Do I need to use a coupon?

No, you don’t have to use a coupon. In fact, some businesses really shouldn’t. Please contact me and I’d be happy to discuss if I think your business would benefit from using a coupon.

Affluent people don't use coupons.

That's untrue. Some of the most affluent people I know won't go anywhere unless they get a deal. It doesn't mean they don't want or appreciate high quality goods or services and/or that they aren't loyal. They will just go out of their way to get a good deal. (Example: going to eat on Monday evening for half-off night instead of going to the same restaurant on a Saturday).

I don’t want to be on a postcard with other advertisers.

Ok, no problem. There are plenty of other ways to advertise (most likely more expensive), however, in my experience, I can’t think of one that can effectively reach such a large audience at such an affordable price.

Image Advertising vs. ROI

The goal as a business is to be top-of-mind to your potential customers/clients. One of the ways to acheive this is to be seen everywhere. Everywhere they turn, they see you. They see you so frequently that you move to their recall for your specific service and/or product that you specialize in. They may not be ready to buy now or even think they need your product and/or service, but when they do...there you are!! It' s like putting your company logo and contact information on your work vehicle. You don't know exactly how it helps, but it sure isn't hurting, as you sure are being seen.

Do you give a discount for the mailers that are going to businesses instead of households?

Sorry, no. The reason that EDDM is affordable is because it is along current USPS carrier routes. If they had to turn skip an area and then come back that would impact mail carriers time, thus increase the cost. Essentially what you are asking for is targeted direct mail, which is a lot more costly than EDDM. If you would like to go that direction, I can help, please reach out. 

When will the first mailing go out?

As soon as all the spots are filled, all the specific information and images you sent pertinant to your advertisement that you sent over after you placed your ad, will be sent to our graphic designer and then on to our printer. We will be in communication with you via email to update you throughout the process. You can anticipate around a 1.5 to 2 weeks from after all of the spots being filled to being delivered to the mailboxes. Again, we will keep you updated.

Will I receive a hardcopy of the mailer?

Sorry, unfortunately that is not a service we offer for free (only if you lived along the carrier routes would you receive a copy of the mailer). However, if you would like a copy sent to you by mail, we can arrange for it to be delivered to the address you provide for a fee.

What we ask of you

• Payments are made in full (we do not accept half or partial payments because we need to pay upfront for mailing and printing costs) and need to be paid for the next month. (Example: payments that are made in April, will go towards the printing in May or the next scheduled mailing).

• After you have paid, please email your company information including the following: logo, artwork, QR code, offer (if you would like to include one), phone number, email address, website address, or anything else you would like to include in your ad.

• Please respond to any emails as soon as possible (we will do the same). In the beginning, we will most likely need to communicate with you a couple of times to verify information, or we may have a question or two and we would appreciate a quick response. 

• After receiving your ad proof, please be sure to get back to us in a timely manner so we can proceed to printing and you’re not holding back others from having their postcard being sent. We will most likely try give you a grace period, however, when it’s time to print, it’s time to print!
